High Performance Impact
Windows from Alside allows the enjoyment of
beauty and casual luxury of the coastal regions without
compromising safety. Precision-engineered to withstand
hurricane-force wind, these windows are rigorously tested and
approved to meet or exceed the stringent building codes
required.
Destructive winds and flying debris are no
match for High Performance Impact Windows. This is proven and
certified by a series of test impacts against the window from a
“large missile” - a 9 lb wooden 2x4. The missile is calibrated
at 50 ft. per second upon impact. After the window passes this
test, it’s subjected to positive and negative pressure. Every
element of each and every test for this product must be passed
to conform to ASTM E1886 & E1996 criteria.
